HTC J Butterfly (HTV31) With 13-Megapixel Front Camera Launched
HTC company has launched a new flagship HTC J Butterfly (HTV31) in Japan. HTC J Butterfly (HTV31) is the successor of its previous Butterfly series smartphones. The smartphone comes with With 13-Megapixel Front Camera. The smartphone is reportedly scheduled to release in early June in Japan, and speculated to get renamed as the HTC Butterfly 3 Internationally.There is no information about price of HTC J Butterfly (HTV31), though the company has confirmed that it will be released sometime in summer and will be available in Japan.

DISPLAY AND DESIGN
HTC J Butterfly sports a 5.2-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) Super LCD3 display and is a water and dust resistant device with IPX5/ IPX7 and IP5X certification. The smartphone housed in a 151mm x 73mm x 10.1mm polycarbonate plastic body, and weighs 162 grams.
PROCESSOR AND OS
The J Butterfly (HTV31), much like the One M9, runs on 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 MSM8994 (quad-core 2GHz + quad-core 1.5GHz) SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM. The HTC J Butterfly runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense UI.
CAMERA AND STORAGE
It sports a 20.2-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, while it also houses a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. The main camera can shoot 2160p video, too. Notably, the HTC J Butterfly (HTV31) also sports the dual rear camera setup, first seen on the 2014 flagship handset.
The smartphone comes with 32GB built-in storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 200GB).
BATTERY AND CONNECTIVITY
The HTC J Butterfly (HTV31) is equipped with a 2,700mAh battery that supports 110-minute quick charging,, which is same as the one found on HTC J Butterfly launched last year.
The smartphone supports LTE connectivity (Japan’s 4G LTE bands) apart from Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE and 3G connectivity options.

HTC has noted that the phone will go on sale in early-June in three colour options. There is no word on the global release, but the phone might be launched in select Asian market under the Butterfly moniker.
