Gionee on Saturday launched the Elife S7 in India at an event in Hyderabad, its latest slim smartphone offering with a thickness of 5.5mm. Gionee Elife S7 has been priced at Rs. 24,999, and will hit shelves in a week in Black, White, and Blue colours. Gionee has engineered the Gionee Elife S7 in such a way that its body is supported by a U-shaped frame made from an aviation-grade aluminium magnesium alloy. This frame curves gently at its four corners. Enclosed within are the front and rear portions of the body, which are made entirely of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone is just 5.5mm thick and coupled with its weight of 126.5g, it feels extremely sleek. We received a black unit for review, but it is available in white and blue as well.
