Lenovo, soon after launching the K80 smartphone, has now unveiled the A3900 for the Chinese market. Priced at CNY 499 (Rs. 5,100 approximately), the Lenovo A3900 smartphone is now listed on the company’s China website.
Unfortunately, there is no word on the availability details of the A3900 smartphone; though we can expect the smartphone will be going on sale in the company’s home country soon. Lenovo has also not revealed whether the A3900 will be launched outside China.

DISPLAY AND CONFIGURATION
When it comes to specifications, the Lenovo A3900 boasts of a 5 inch IPS display with a FWVGA resolution of 480×854 pixels and a pixel density of 196 pixels per inch. Under its hood, there is a 1.2 GHz quad core MediaTek MT6572 processor backed by a moderate 512 MB of RAM.
Software wise, the Lenovo smartphone comes with the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system wrapped with the Lenovo Vibe UI. The device is packed with sensors such as gravity sensor, accelerometer, light sensor and proximity sensor.

CAMERA AND STORAGE
The Lenovo A3900 features a 5 MP main snapper with auto focus and LED flash and a 2 MP on its front for video conferencing and selfies.
The storage department of the Lenovo smartphone is taken care of by a low 4 GB of native storage space that can be expanded further up to 32 GB using a micro SD card slot.
BATTERY AND CONNECTIVITY
A 2,300 mAh battery powers the smartphone from within energizing it for decent hours.
The connectivity aspects onboard the A3900 include 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB, dual SIMM functionality and USB OTG.
VERDICT
Looking through the specification of the device, the weak point appears to be the amount of RAM included on the device, which will limit how well the A3900 will multitask even despite Android Kit Kat’s optimization for low RAM devices. Otherwise, the budget smartphone has perfectly adequate looking specification, but looks a poorer relative compared with many similarly priced competitors. However, instead of trying to compete with box specifications, Lenovo is instead going for the design angle.
