The Sony Xperia Z4 was officially revealed on April 20 in Japan. The news came as a surprise amidst the expectation that Sony’s latest flagship would make its debut in September. But here it is – appearing much sooner than that – albeit only in Japan for now. At first glance, the Z4 looks like it’s continuing the design philosophy of previous ‘Z’ series phones, while kitting out its interior with next-gen flagship hardware.
Sony Xperia Z4 Release Date
While no Xperia Z4 release date has yet been planned for the US, UK or Europe, the phone will be available to buy in Japan later this summer. We expect a European release to follow not much later however, and believe that the Xperia Z4 will be presented at IFA 2015 in September, where we’ll finally be able to get our hands on it.
