The LG G Flex 2, launched in India in February, has been made available to buy in the country on Thursday. The curved display smartphone is priced at Rs. 54,990, and was first globally introduced at CES 2015.
To recall, the LG G Flex 2 when announced back in January, was the first smartphone to run Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (a 64-bit octa-core SoC). It is coupled with the Adreno 430 GPU and 2GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The single-SIM smartphone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and features a 5.5-inch full-HD curved P-OLED display with a 1080×1920 pixels resolution and a 403ppi pixel density.

The LG G Flex 2 32GB is driven by a 2.0GHz quad-core Cortex A57 processor and 1.5GHz quad-core Cortex A53 processor based on Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 chipset. Paired with 2GB RAM and Adreno 430 GPU, it renders uncompromising performance. it sails on latest Android v5.0.1 Lollipop OS.
Camera and Memory
The LG G Flex 2 32GB boasts of a 13MP autofocus rear camera which supports OIS+, panorama, laser autofocus, dual LED flash, 8X digital zoom, simultaneous image and video recording, face detection and HDR and can record 4K videos at 30fps. It is accompanied by a 2.1MP snapper at the front. It houses an internal memory of 32GB and can accommodate up to 2TB of microSD cards.
Battery and Connectivity
The LG G Flex 2 32GB runs the show with a sealed 3,000mAh Li-Po battery and supports Quick Charge 2.0 technology. It can be connected via 3G, NFC, Wi-Fi, GLONASS, DLNA USB host, computer sync, Bluetooth v4.1, USB port and OTA sync.
Verdict
The LG G Flex 2 32GB carries an innovative curved design and packs high quality features in every department thereby justifying its premium price. The only disappointing thing is the lack of a good front camera, especially in this selfie crazy world. Moreover, people may doubt the strength of this so called flexible smartphone.
