Download TWRP Recovery image file depending on the model of your Moto E 2015:

- Moto E 2015 4G (Surnia): recovery.img | Mirror
Also download the flashable SuperSU root package: UPDATE-SuperSU-vx.x.zip
Download and install the Motorola USB drivers on your PC.
Go to phone Settings> Developer options and enable USB Debugging on your Moto E.

How to Root Moto E 2nd gen

Follow the below steps correctly to root Moto E 2successfully.

Unzip the mfastboot-v2.zip file.
Rename the downloaded TWRP image file as “recovery.img” and copy it to mfastboot-v2 folder.
Copy the UPDATE-SuperSU-vx.x.zip file to your phone.
Now reboot your 2nd Gen Moto E into the Bootloader Mode. You can do it using either of the methods given below:
- Turn off your phone and then press and hold the Volume Down + Power buttons simultaneously for a few seconds.
- Connect your Moto G to computer using the USB cable. Open the mfastboot-v2 folder, launch a command window, type the following command and press the Enter key:

To root your Moto E 2015 without installing TWRP Recovery:
- Enter the following command.

mfastboot.exe boot recovery.img
```
- When your phone boots into TWRP.
- Tap the Install option, navigate to UPDATE-SuperSU-vx.x.zip file and install it.
To root and install TWRP Recovery:
- Issue the following command:

mfastboot.exe flash recovery recovery.img
```
- Now type the command given below to boot the phone into recovery mode:
```
mfastboot.exe reboot bootloader
```
- Then highlight the Recovery option using the Volume keys and press the Power button to select it.
- In TWRP mode, tap the Install option, go to UPDATE-SuperSU-vx.x.zip and select it.
- Swipe the confirmation slider to flash SuperSU package.
Now go back to the TWRP main menu and select Reboot> System.

Unlock Bootloader on Moto E 2015

Unlocked bootloader means that you can easily root the phone and flash a custom recovery using Fastboot as soon as it’s is available.

Unlock Bootloader on Moto E 2015

Please note that unlocking the bootloader will wipe all data present on your device. We, therefore, strongly recommend you to take a backup of your entire device data, such as 3rd party apps, contacts, text messages, images, videos, etc.
Download the Android SDK or the Minimal ADB and Fastboot tool on your computer.
Also install Motorola USB Driver on your computer.
Enable USB Debugging on your Mote E 2015.
Go to phone Settings> Developer options and enable OEM Unlock option.
Boot your Moto E into Fastboot mode. There are 2 ways to do so:
- Turn off the phone and then press and hold Volume down + Power buttons together.
- Connect phone to computer, launch a command window, type the command given below and press the Enter key:

Now connect your Moto E to computer using the USB cable provided by the OEM.
Launch command prompt window:

Type or copy/paste the following command in the cmd window:

fastboot oem get_unlock_data
```
You will get a return string in the command window. Copy it (Right click the mouse, select Mark option and then highlight the string by Shift+dragging the mouse, and then press Ctrl+C to copy).
Paste the copied string in a notepad and remove the empty spaces.
Now open the Motorola website. Sign in with your Google account or Motorola ID.
Now paste the copied string into the text field and then click “Can my device be unlocked?” button.
You’ll see a “REQUEST UNLOCK KEY” button at the bottom of the page.
Check the “I Agree” option.
Your Unlock Key will be generated and emailed to you.
Copy the 20-character unlock key and launch the command window again. Make sure your phone is still in Fastboot mode and connected to the computer. To ensure that the device is still connected, type
```
fastboot devices
```
Now issue the following command in the cmd (replace “UNIQUE_KEY” text with the 20-character unlock key:
```
fastboot oem unlock UNIQUE_KEY
```
Press Enter key to initiate the bootloader unlock process.
When the procedure finishes, you device will reboot and you would see Bootloader Unlocked warning while your device boots up.

21. In case you change your mind anytime later and want to re-lock the bootloader, you can use the following command:

fastboot oem lock

How to root Asus Zenfone 2

Follow these instructions to root Asus Zenfone

1. Extract files from both Fastboot and Pre-Rooted System Image to your desktop. To do that, right-click on both the archives one by one and select Extract here to extract their files.

2. Head to Menu > Settings > About phone on your device and tap on Build number for about 7-8 times until it says you’re a developer.

3. Head back to Settings and tap on Developer options.

4. Turn ON the USB debugging option.

5. Plug in your device to your PC using a USB cable.

6. Hold down Shift and right-click anywhere on your screen and select Open command window here. It will launch a Command Prompt Window for you to issue commands to your device.

7. When it launches, type in the following command and press Enter:

adb reboot-bootloader

8. Your device should reboot into bootloader mode.

9. Now, rename the system image that you have downloaded to system.img. You can do that by right-clicking on the system image and selecting Rename.

10. Type in the following command into the Command Prompt Window and press Enter:

fastboot flash system system.img

11. Wait for it to flash the system image on your device.

12. When it’s done flashing the image, reboot your device by issuing the following command:

fastboot reboot

13. Your device should reboot.

14. You are all done!

And there you go.

First Download and Install Kingo Android Root on your PC. You can Download kingo Android root from kingoapp.com
After that Enable USB debugging mode on your phone.
- On Android 4.0 or 4.1,
  - Go to Settings >> Developer Options, then tick the box for “USB debugging.”
  - (You may need to switch “Developer options” to On before you can do so.)
- On Android 4.2,
  - Tap Settings, About Phone, Developer Options, and then tick USB debugging.” Then tap OK .
- On Android 4.3 and later (and some versions of 4.2),
  - Tap Settings >> About Phone, and then scroll down to Build Number. Tap it five to ten times, at some of point you should see the message, “You are now a developer!”
  - Now go to Settings >> About Phone >> Developer Options, and then tick USB debugging.” Then tap OK .

Now connect your android device using USB Sync Cable.
Run Kingo Android Root on your PC. It will look as below.
After waiting a moment it’ll detect your Android device and will ask to ROOT.
