Xiaomi on the occasion of its 5th anniversary has unveiled one more affordable variant of the Redmi 2, the Redmi 2A. Xiaomi redmi 2A is the successor of its previous smartphone Redmi 2. Xiaomi redmi 2A comes with Android OS, v5.0 (Lollipop) & supports 4G LTE. Xiaomi redmi 2A will be available at low price of Rs/-6000.

Display and Design
The Xiaomi Redmi 2A features a 4.7-inch IPS LCD multi-touch display which looks sharp and rich with a resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels (HD) and a pixel density of 312ppi. It has a waistline of 9.4mm and is available in different flavours like yellow, grey, pink, white and green.
Configuration and OS
For driving its processes, the Xiaomi Redmi 2A is packed with a 1.5GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor based on Leadcore L1860C chipset. It is paired with 1GB RAM and Mali T628MP2 GPU to ensure smooth and powerful management of standard applications. One of the key features of the phone is the latest Android v5.0 Lollipop platform dressed in MIUI 6.0.
Camera and Storage
The Xiaomi Redmi 2A has been spotted with an 8MP autofocus camera at the back which is inclusive of LED flash and BSI sensor and can capture full HD videos at 30fps frame rate. Verdict
The Xiaomi Redmi 2A takes the smartphone world back to where it started with the Redmi 1s. It is just a pretty looking standard sized smartphone with the main attraction, as usual, being its unbelievable price. Another major draw of this Lollipop powered phone is the support for 4G LTE networks.
