Platform and processor

Under the hood Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is powered by a 64-bit octa core Exynos 7420 SoC with four Cortex-A57 cores clocked at 2.1GHz, and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz and coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM whereas the Galaxy Note 4 is powered by Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 1.9 GHz Cortex-A57 processor accompanied by an equally powerful 3GB RAM.

The Galaxy Note 5 display is almost the same as its predecessor, the battery is smaller (and isn’t removable) and it lacks microSD card support: these are big disappointments.
