ZTE has launched its Nubia brand of handset Nubia Z9 mini in India. Nubia Z9 Mini was originally unveiled along with Z9 Max a couple of months ago in China. ZTE Nubia Z9 mini comes with 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 and Android OS, v5.0.2 (Lollipop). The smartphone is available at affordable price of Rs/- 16,999, Going on sale exclusively on Amazon India.

The ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini flaunts a 5-inch IPS full HD (1080×1920 pixels) multi touch display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection wrapped in a 8.2mm thick outfit which weighs 147g and carries dotted finish on the plastic back.

It runs Nubia 2.8 UI based on latest Android v5.0.2 OS and is driven by a 64-bit Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 chipset. It is aided by a 2GB RAM and Adreno 305 GPU.

The ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini impresses with its 16MP autofocus rear camera which supports Exmor-R CMOS image sensor and can record full HD videos. It is accompanied by an 8MP front snapper to woo selfie crazy people. It sports an internal memory of 16GB which is expandable up to 128GB.

Verdict
The ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini is an excellent mid-range 5-inch smartphone with impressive specsheet. But the main standout feature of this device is dotted plastic cover which is available in various flavors including bamboo and denim.
